Flahavan's Progress Oatlets is Ireland's favourite porridge oats brand.  Flahavan's select only the finest Irish oats, which are then carefully dried and cleaned in preparation for milling.  The indigestible outer shell is removed leaving the oat kernel, which is chopped, steamed and then rolled flat to make oatlets.  It is a flaked oatmeal product which can be easily cooked on the hob (in 3 minutes) or in 2 minutes in the microwave.  Flahavan's unique milling process cooks the oats twice which gives Flahavan's Progress Oatlets their distinctive texture and taste.  They are a very versatile product as they can also be added as an ingredient to many food recipes.  Try Flahavan's Progress Oatlets with some honey, yoghurt, chopped fruits (such as apple or banana), bran or wheatgerm!
