An old van trundles slowly along a narrow, stone-walled lane on Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands. With drystone walls hemming the road on either side and the wide Atlantic sky overhead, it’s a charming snapshot of island life — where traffic moves at its own gentle pace and time seems to slow with every passing mile.

Norman McCloskey is a professional photographer based in Kenmare, Co. Kerry which is a very beautiful part of Ireland.  His passion for photographing the landscape there began in 1992 and he have been endlessly inspired by my surroundings ever since.
