Standing alone on the windswept slopes of the Dingle Peninsula, this iconic stone
schoolhouse was built as a set for David Lean’s 1970 epic Ryan’s Daughter. Though only a
film prop, its weathered walls have become a beloved landmark on the road to Dunquin,
framed by the wild Atlantic and the sweeping hills of West Kerry.

Norman McCloskey is a professional photographer based in Kenmare, Co. Kerry which is a very beautiful part of Ireland.  His passion for photographing the landscape there began in 1992 and he have been endlessly inspired by my surroundings ever since.
